The group was formed to give writers who are serious about being published a chance to meet for encouragement, support and to share market news and publishing opportunities.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday evening of every month in Stratford-upon-Avon. Members pay a small annual fee, plus a monthly contribution to the hire of the hall. Tea and coffee are available for a nominal charge. Every month we explore a different component of the writing process and share our experiences.

New and aspiring authors who are seeking other friendly and professional writers to share their work with, for feedback and support, are very welcome to come along.

Many of our group are already published with novels, articles, short stories and biographies.

This is a group of dedicated writers and no matter where you are with your writing, we'd love to meet you at our next monthly gathering!

Bardstown Writers is a member of the National Association of Writers’ Groups and affiliated to Writing West Midlands.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month

in the Methodist Hall, Old Town, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6GB
